  • Speciality: McBain Associates is seeking Local Business Enterprise (LBE) firms certified by the City and County of San Francisco Human Rights Commission as sub-consultants to join our team for the SFPUC River Ecosystem Science Support Project. Please refer to pages 10 -12 of the SFPUC's Request for Proposals No. CS-388 for descriptions of the tasks referenced below. McBain Associates seeks sub-consultants with appropriate qualifications for up to seven disciplines: 1) a surveyor licensed in the State of California to provide survey-grade horizontal and vertical control and topography at study sites on the Upper Tuolumne River and San Francisco Bay Area streams if required by the SFPUC in Tasks 2 and 4); 2) an aerial photography and LiDAR contractor to provide aerial imagery and terrestrial LiDAR topography in Task 7; 3) a hydraulic engineer licensed in the State of California to review and/or provide 1-D and 2-D open channel hydraulic modeling and hydrology analyses in Task 2, 3, 4, and 5; 4) an aquatic biologist with at least 5 years experience to conduct biological resource surveys on the Upper Tuolumne River and San Francisco Bay Area streams if required by the SFPUC in Tasks 1, 2, and 3; 5) a groundwater hydrologist to provide analysis and/or modeling of shallow groundwater dynamics in alluvial river bottomlands; 6) a technical editor for Task 10; and 7) a reproduction service to reproduce reports and graphics for Task 10, as well as plotting large scale color maps and aerial photographs (e.g., 24” by 36”). For Reproduction Services- Unit costs for providing report reproduction services (B&W + color, binding, etc.) and large scale color plots (e.g., 24” by 36”).
