  • Speciality: CS-389 Planning and Engineering Services Southeast Plant New 250 MGD Headworks Facility MWH Americas, Inc. is seeking qualified Local Business Enterprise (LBE) firms for inclusion in a professional services proposal to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). All firms need to be San Francisco-certified LBEs and have appropriate professional qualifications and California Registrations. The services required are (1) geotechnical and hazardous material investigations; (2) alternative analysis and design; (3) physical and computer hydraulic modeling; (4) constructability review; (5) utility identification and survey; (6) support to City staff for environmental review, (7) detailed design for headworks facility; (8) plans and specifications; (9) engineering cost estimates; (10) schedules for planning, design, and construction; (11) engineering support and management for the project; (12) reviewing and sizing necessary construction; (13) coordination with designated governmental and private entities; and (14) coordination with City staff and preparation of Conceptual Engineering Report (CER), Design Criteria Report (DCR). MWH is seeking firms in the following engineering disciplines: civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, environmental services and traffic. Other disciplines also required comprise: surveying, materials testing and community relations. Qualified firms with LBE certification in the appropriate discipline covering the services proposed and with the qualifications required by the SFPUC’S request for proposal (RFP), should email statements of qualifications (SOQ) to sfops@mwhglobal.com.
