The City and County of San Francisco’s Public Utilities Commission seeks a qualified consultant to assist in conducting a survey to understand the current pest management practices employed by commercial property owners and property managers in the San Francisco Mission Bay area. In compliance with the City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit and in alignment with the principles of Community-Based Social Marketing, the SFPUC’s objective is to understand current landscape and pest control practices, assess potential barriers to adopting integrated pest management strategies, and provide recommendations for a more targeted outreach program. The survey results will provide the foundation for further Community-Based Social Marketing behavior change campaigns by the SFPUC in the future.
