Adopt a Drain
The Adopt a Drain Program enables San Franciscans to “adopt” one or more of the City’s 25,000 storm drains or catch basins and pledge to help keep it free of leaves and debris. Adopt a Drain, give it a name, and then help protect our sewer system by keeping it clean!

You can be part of the long-term planning process of sewer system improvements in San Francisco over the next 20 years. The City will integrate a mix of green and grey infrastructure projects as we upgrade our aging combined sewer system. Click here for more info.
