Applications are open for the 2021 SSIP CityWorks Program. CityWorks, a paid internship program, provides interns aged 16-19 years old from San Francisco’s Southeast neighborhoods with work-based learning and mentorship opportunities through summer jobs with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and private engineering firms working with our Sewer System Improvement Program (SSIP). Developed in partnership with the SSIP and Young Community Developers, Cityworks strives to increase diversity in engineering, program management, communications and related fields.
As a CityWorks intern, you’ll have access to mentors, supervisors and a strong community of professionals all of whom are dedicated to helping you achieve your careers goals. To apply for SSIP CityWorks, complete an online application OR hardcopy application and submit it in person to:
Nicole Quinto
Young Community Developers, Inc.,
1715 Yosemite Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94124.
All applications must be submitted before Friday, April 2, 2021 at 5:00pm. Email Nicole Quinto with any questions or call (415) 730-5504.
The program is made possible by the SFPUC’s Community Benefits Policy which guides the Agency’s efforts to be a good neighbor and provide opportunities to our service area communities.
