The objective of the project is to provide redundancy to the aging pipelines of San Francisco’s water distribution system. The work to be performed under this contract includes installation of new 8-inch ductile iron water mains and pavement restoration on Baker Street from Geary Boulevard to Broadway Street and on Sutter Street from Divisadero Street to Presidio Avenue in San Francisco, California. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid.
A Class “A” California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Vivian Liu at (415) 551-4814 for further information.
