Mayor Gavin Newsom has joined Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Regional Administrator Wayne Nastri and SFPUC General Manager Ed Harrington to announce a new $8 million USEPA grant to fund innovative water security and drinking water contamination early detection systems for the SFPUC water system.
