The objective of the project is to implement changes to the transmission system along the Hetch Hetchy Right Of Way for the purpose of mitigating clearance detections identified during the North American Electric Reliability Corporation's (NERC) 2010 Alert. Work will comprise of modifications to ten (10) transmission line towers on the Moccasin-Newark 115 KV lines 3 & 4, and Warnerville-Standiford 115 KV lines 7 & 8.. The work is to be performed in California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Sub-contracting Participation Requirement is 16%. Both San Francisco Small & Micro-LBEs and SFPUC-LBEs (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division) can be utilized to meet this requirement.
