The objective of this project is to construct a powdered activated carbon tanks and feed system for water treatment in the Sunol Valley Water Treatment Plant (SVWTP) to address taste and odor concerns. The work is to be performed in Alameda County, CA.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Lakysha Cummings at 415-554-3136 for further information. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: concrete, plumbing, carpentry, painting, trucking, security services, and general contracting.
Hard Copy versions of plans, specifications, and bidding documents are available for a non-refundable $160 fee and will include a CD version of documents that contain additional reference documents. For immediate pick up, please visit the Customer Service Desk on the first floor of 525 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102. You will need to bring an originally, signed confidentiality agreement form and $160 in cash or a check payable to “SFPUC”.
To request to receive plans, specifications and bidding documents by mail, a Contractor should mail the request to: SFPUC Contract Administration Bureau, 8th Floor; 525 Golden Gate Avenue San Francisco, CA 94102. The request should include an originally, signed confidentiality agreement form, a business card, the contractor License number, a $160 check payable to “SFPUC,” and a FedEx account number with return shipping information.
