The objective of the project is to selectively perform hazardous paint mitigation, perform mechanical equipment demolition, including scum breaker pumps, replace existing deficient and deteriorated sediment traps assemblies, digester overflow anti-siphon vacuum relief valves, digested sludge recirculation pump-motor assemblies, dewatering day tank grit suspension pumps, associated piping and pneumatic actuated valves. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Jason Chow at 415 554-3103 for further information.

Please refer to Section 01 60 00 in the Specifications regarding the purchase of equipment to achieve the LBE subcontracting participation requirement.

The hard copy plans and specs will come bundled with a CD that for an additional $10 contains essential reference documents.
