The objective of the project is to provide coastal erosion mitigation and protect critical wastewater infrastructure, facilities, and assets at South Ocean Beach. To accomplish this three-year contract will selectively relocate sand from North Ocean Beach, transport along the Great Highway and strategically place sand & erosion mitigation measures at South Ocean Beach. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, CA.

The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division).  SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 12% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement.
