The objective of the project is to install a complete Total Solids Analyzer and its ancillary calibration system, to install a complete Dystor Evacuation System and to replace in kind two (2) boiler gas boosters, replace in kind gas monitors, and to replace the corroded structural members, roof, and to rehabilitate the two (2) gravity belt thickeners at the Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant. This contract requires bidder pre-qualification by the SFPUC. Only contractors who have successfully completed the pre-qualification process for the applicable category of work, as posted at http://sfwater.org/pre-qualify, will be allowed to submit bids for this contract. The applicable pre-qualification category for this Contract is Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Regina Chan at 415-551-4335 for CMD-related issues.
Hard copy versions of plans, specifications and bidding documents are available on the First floor at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, Customer Service Desk San Francisco, CA 94102 for a non-refundable $150 fee paid by cash or by check payable to “SFPUC.” A CD version is available to hard copy plan holders only for an additional fee of $10. A contractor, who is requesting plans & specs by mail should send a request with the original, signed Confidentiality Agreement, appropriate payment amount, FedEx #, business card, contractor license # and return shipping information to: Contract Administration Bureau at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 8th floor, San Francisco, CA 94102.
