Project Description

Project is a 2.25-mile length of Van Ness Avenue from Lombard Street to Mission Street consisting of Bus Rapid Transit lanes and stations, SFMTA overhead contact system and pole replacement, modernization and improvement of the traffic signal system, replacement of San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's sewer and water main, auxiliary water supply system (AWSS) upgrades, green infrastructure facilities, landscaping & irrigation & hardscaping.              

Work required to upgrade the existing AWSS system and monitor existing AWSS facilities including remove and salvage existing AWSS high-pressure piping, remove and dispose of existing AWSS high-pressure piping, installation and testing of new AWSS high-pressure piping and appurtenance and installation and removal of AWSS monitoring and reference points.

SBE/DBE Participation Goal : SBE:  20%;  Women-Owned DBE:  3%;  African American-Owned DBE:  3%; SBE Trucking Set-Aside: 100% off-Haul and dispose of materials from the project.
