2/10/17 Siemens Industry has been selected as the lowest bidder and will be recommended for contract award.
The objective of the project is to perform inspection and testing of the fire protection, fire alarm, and life safety systems for the 525 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102 high rise building. In addition to the extent that any fire protection, fire alarm, or life safety system, or any portion thereof, does meet regulatory requirements the Contractor will provide maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis, including the replacement of component equipment as necessary.
The Engineer's estimate is $550,000. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
Bid discounts may be applied for certified LBEs as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B; however, there is no LBE subcontracting goal for this project. Bidders are encouraged to use San Francisco Local Certified Small and Micro-LBEs to the extent possible.
Interested bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid and contractor networking conference to be held at 525 Golden Gate Ave., 3rd Floor – Tuolumne Conference Rm, San Francisco, CA 94102 at 9:00 A.M., on December 6, 2016. A site inspection will be held immediately following the pre-bid conference meeting.
