The SFPUC has reached a determination to reject all Applications submitted in response to the Request for Qualifications for Contract No. WW-647 and to cancel the Request for Qualifications. The SFPUC expects to re-advertise Contract No. WW-647R, Biosolids Digester Facilities, in the near future.
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (“SFPUC”) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) in search of candidates who have the necessary qualifications as set forth in this RFQ to be pre-qualified to respond to the forthcoming Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for a Construction Manager/General Contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services for Contract No. WW-647, – Biosolids Digester Facilities. A “Candidate” is any entity responding to this RFQ.
Whether a Candidate has such qualifications will be determined through the evaluation process described in Section 4 of this RFQ. Candidates chosen through this process (“Qualified Respondents”) will be notified of their eligibility to submit proposals for the RFP for necessary pre-construction and construction services in conjunction with the Project. Only the selected Qualified Respondents will be eligible to submit a proposal in response to the forthcoming RFP. Each Qualified Respondent will be required to obtain and submit additional and separate technical qualification questionnaire(s) for the project specific RFP. The requirements contained in this RFQ are subject to change and will be reflected in the RFP.
The SFPUC will select a CM/GC upon the following two-step process: (1) this RFQ, by which the SFPUC seeks Candidates who meet the qualification criteria as set forth in this RFQ and whom the SFPUC will then invite to participate in step (2) RFP.
Addendum #1 was issued July 8, 2016 and extended the RFQ Pre-Qualification Application due date to August 10, 2016.
Addendum #2 was issued July 25, 2016.
Addendum #3 was issued August 8, 2016 and extended the RFQ Pre-Qualification Application due date to 12 PM on August 24, 2016.
ATTENTION *** In accordance with the SRF DBE Good Faith Effort process, Bidders are required to make information on forthcoming opportunities available to DBEs by posting solicitations for bids and/or proposals for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days before the bid due date on August 10, 2016.
