The SFPUC is implementing a High-Efficiency Toilet and High-Efficiency Urinal Direct Install Program (“Program”) for customers in the San Francisco retail service area. Through the initial phase of this Program, an estimated 10,000 older, high-flush volume toilets and urinals located in residential and commercial properties will be replaced with high-efficiency models by or before 2018. Services include performing program administration, program marketing, building audits, and leak detection services as required, as well as plumbing services to replace inefficient fixtures. The selected vendor for the program will administer the initial Program phase for an anticipated duration up to four (4) years and $4,000,000, with an option to increase the contract capacity to up to nine (9) years and $9,000,000, at the sole discretion of the SFPUC.
This RFP is posted on SFPUC's new SF Bid website: https://sfbid.sfwater.org/. Submissions will only be accepted via the SF Bid website. You will need to create an SFBid account to view and/or download the RFP documents. For questions, please email sfbid@sfwater.org.
04/28/16: Pursuant to the Request for Proposals (RFP) Section 8.12 "Reservations of Rights by the City", the SFPUC is rejecting all proposals and will be re-issuing this RFP. Because of various irregularities in each of the proposals submitted, SFPUC is rebidding the project as PRO.0049. We expect to re-advertise PRO.0049 the week of May 2, 2016. Please continue to check the SFBid website https://sfbid.sfwater.org/ for further information.
