Project Description

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), requests proposals from qualified vendors of microfiltration (MF) or ultrafiltration (UF) equipment for equipment and related services for the proposed Westside Recycled Water Project (WRWP). The WRWP is a proposed part of the SFPUC’s Water System Improvement Program, Local Water Supply group of projects. The proposed WRWP would reduce the City’s reliance on potable water for non-potable uses such as irrigation through the production and distribution of highly treated recycled water. This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines the SFPUC requirements for a Membrane Filtration System as part of the design of the WRWP, a project that the SFPUC is proposing at the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant (OWPCP) located in San Francisco, California

12/5/14: The RFP due date has been postponed to December 17, 2014.

12/8/14: Addendum 1 has been posted.
