The SFPUC, a department of the City, seeks to retain the services of a qualified Proposer to assist the SFPUC with Corrosion Control Engineering Services on an as-needed basis during the term of the Professional Services Agreement (Agreement). Services needed could include technical review, troubleshooting, startup and testing of the corrosion control systems, risk assessment, evaluation of new technology, data analysis, emergency field investigation, activation of cathodic protection systems, materials selection, internal/external pipeline and tank inspection, laboratory analysis, failure analysis, and other specialized services related to corrosion engineering at the discretion of the SFPUC.
The SFPUC anticipates awarding to two (2) selected Proposers a sixty (60) month agreement for a total not to exceed amount of $1,000,000 each, for a total amount of $2,000,000, inclusive of all reimbursable costs.

08/05/14: The written evaluation is now complete. In alphabetical order, the following firms will advance to the oral interview phase of this RFP process: Corrpro, HDR Engineering, JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc., and V & A Consulting Engineers. The oral interviews are scheduled for August 21, 2014. Proposers will be sent an invitation shortly.
09/15/14: The CS-362 RFP evaluation is now complete. The two highest ranked firms are HDR Engineering and JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc.
