The SFPUC, a department of the City, seeks to retain the services of qualified Proposers to assist the SFPUC with engineering design for water conveyance, water/wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection projects. The Proposers will assist SFPUC staff in the implementation and completion of various SFPUC projects, including providing related services for a portion of projects at any stage, including initial planning, programming, design,construction, start-up and may also be called upon to provide other related engineering design services during the term of the Professional Services Agreement (Agreement). Such services could include other specialized services at the discretion of the SFPUC. Proposers responding to this RFP must have proven expertise and extensive experience in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Geotechnical and Mechanical Engineering design and analysis for water conveyance, water/wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection projects.
The SFPUC anticipates awarding Agreements to the three (3) highest-ranked Proposers. Each Agreement will be for a term of five (5) years and will have a not-to-exceed amount of $3 million, inclusive of reimbursable costs, for a cumulative amount not to exceed of $9 million for all three Agreements.

7-2-14 The written evaluation is now complete. In alphabetical order, the following firms will advance to the oral interview phase of this RFP process: Kennedy/Jenks JV , MWH/WRE JV, RMC/Structus JV, and URS. The oral interviews are scheduled for July 21st. Proposers will be sent an invitation shortly.
7-25-14 The CS-386 RFP evaluation process is complete. The following three (3) Consultants will be awarded contracts: Kennedy/Jenks-AGS, MWH/WRE, and URS.
