The objective of the project is to improve the safety access to all machinery and components within the O’ Shaughnessy dam located on Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne County. This work will include improvement to fall protection systems, installation of new access to the spillway, and miscellaneous improvements in the control room elements. The work is to be performed in Tuolumne, California. The Engineer's estimate is $1,750,000. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is waived for this project. Please contact Jason Chow at 925-322-0057 for further information.

A site inspection will be held at O’Shaughnessy Dam in Yosemite National Park, on 03/30/2021. Interested bidder to meet at the Parking lot of One Lakeshore Drive, Moccasin, CA 95347 on 3/31/2021 at 9:00 AM. Interested bidders are encouraged to attend.
SFPUC encourages Bidders to submit a Safety Prequalification Form at least 3-weeks prior to the date of Bid opening. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders who have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. Refer to Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders, “Bidder Qualifications” and Section 00 45 12 – Safety Prequalification for additional information.
A Class “Classification A” California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing.
