The objective of the project is to provide contingency-based as-needed replacement of sections of existing sewer pipelines on short notice at locations to be determined within the City and County of San Francisco. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 7.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 7.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The LBE subcontracting participation requirement is 7% due to the variability of actual work scopes for each contract service order and the average of the closeout LBE participation percentage of the last six spot sewer contracts.
