The objective of the project is to seismically upgrade SEP 042-Primary Sedimentation Facility at Southeast Plant. The project also includes mechanical and electrical upgrades of SEP 042 as well as coating and repair work in SEP 540, SEP525 and SEP channels C, D, and E. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California.
Bid discounts may be applied as per San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 20.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 20.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. Please contact Lakysha Cummings at (415) 554-3136 for further information. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: Drilling for cast-in-place concrete piers, excavation and trucking, concrete, concrete reinforcement, electrical, plumbing, metal fabrication, and grading and paving.
A DVD version of the bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and available project information is available by mail or at 525 Golden Gate Avenue, 1st Floor, Customer Service Desk, San Francisco, CA 94102 for a nonrefundable $10.00 fee paid by check payable to "SFPUC." Hard copy versions of the plans and specifications are only available by mail or by appointment for pick up for an additional fee of $210.00.
